Dino's Dream

The Esquimalt Celebration of Lights became a reality December 2006. It was a dream of Dino Fiorin to have a Family Event in Esquimalt and began promoting “light UP Esquimalt”.

Along with partners, Esquimalt Neighbourhood House, Esquimalt Chamber of Commerce, Country grocer and the Esquimalt Lions Club, the first year was tagged “Xmas in the Town Square”. From that humble beginning Celebration of Lights has evolved to into a light parade and music event that gathers at the Esquimalt Arena plaza.

Esquimalt Celebration of lights is a magical event for the whole family. Lights, music, food, all Free to the community.
